John "Jack" Rascob, 84, passed away December 21, 2020.  He was born in Akron and lived most of his life in North Hill.

Jack was an avid bowler, golfer and softball player his entire life.  He was inducted into the Summit County Softball Hall of Fame.  Jack was also a member of the Polish American Club, PNA and the PRCU of A.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stella and John Rachubka; sister, Rebecca (Victor) Noland; and brother-in-law, Paul Beck.  Jack is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janet (Beck) Rascob; sisters-in-law, Delphine (David) Deibel and Patty (Ted) Kirn; brother-in-law, Michael (Jean) Beck; many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Monday December 28, 2020 at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron, OH 44310.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

A calling hour will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am Monday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blessed Trinity Church.
