John Ritchie

John Ritchie, 53, passed away January 28, 2016. Born in Akron, he lived in Atwater the last 10 years.

John was a loyal employee at Parker Hannifin for 34 years. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, swimming, boating, camping, motorcycling and sitting at home by the bonfire enjoying a cold drink with friends and loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Dean Ritchie; brother David Dean Ritchie; and his best friend, Jeff Jones.

John is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughters, Amanda (Jeremy) Corcoran of Tallmadge, Ruby Redington of Atwater; son, Philip (Jamie) Davis of Canton; mother, Eleanor Ritchie of Akron; sisters, Mary Kennedy of Akron, Nancy (Jay) Evans of Twinsburg; Michelle (Darrell) Semick of Cuyahoga Falls, Tammy (Lance) Carosello of San Antonio, TX; brother, Thomas (Michele) Ritchie of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Katie, Maggie, Zoe, Jaden, Maddie, Lily; and many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, inlaws and outlaws aka friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the funeral home with Dr. Rev.  Barry French officiating.
