John Joseph Strobel

John Joseph Strobel, 61, passed away from a heart attack on May 3, 2025. Born in Akron, he lived all of his life in the Tallmadge area.

John was a self-employed construction worker for 43 years.  He was a man who could fix everything.

John is survived by his parents, John "Jack" and Judith Strobel of Clearwater Beach, Florida; son, John Michael Strobel of Youngstown; sister, Tina (John) Geer of Kent; brother, Patrick Ryan (Celeste) Strobel of Tallmadge; nieces and nephews, Michael Kuchenski, Allyson, Emma and Jackson Strobel.

Visitation will be Friday, May 9, 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave, Tallmadge (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Shane Minne officiating.

Following the service, a celebration of life will take place at The Venue.
