John W Tuel, 87, passed away April 30, 2026, Born in Tallmadge, he lived most of his life in Brimfield.
He retired as an Engineer from Firestone. Golfing was his passion. John volunteered with the Field little league and Field Marching Band where he was also the Treasurer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Melba Tuel.
John is survived by his wife, LaVerne; sons, Tyrone (Lisa Clement) Tuel of Kent, Robney Tuel of Columbus; brother, Richard (Gloria) Tuel of Hartville; grandchildren, Ian and Emma Tuel; great granddaughter, Joshalina Tuel; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Per John’s wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warriors or Brimfield Fire Department.
