Joseph F Belvedere

Joseph F. Belvedere, 79, passed away August 9, 2017.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, he had lived in Silver Lake Village for over 40 years.

Joe retired from Goodyear Tire - Information Technology with 30 years of service.  After a few months of retirement, he joined Time Warner and added another 20 years of service to his hard-working career. He was a devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Sons of Italy, the United Way and a Board member of the Arc of Summit and Portage County for two decades. He also enjoyed gardening, hiking, and most of all, his grand (and great grand) children.  Joe was well liked in the community.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette; parents, Domenic and Maria Belvedere; sisters Catherine Galasso and Louise Belvedere.

Joseph is survived by his brother, Thomas (Sandra) Belvedere; his daughters, Alison (Dave) Palmer of Silver Lake Village; Leigh Anne Belvedere of Stow; sons, Joseph Belvedere Jr of Norfolk, VA;  Robert Belvedere of Silver Lake Village; grandchildren, Christina, Laura, Michael, Anthony, Grace, Maria, Catherine, Domenic, Nina; Valerie (Bryan), and Amanda; and great grandchildren, Vincent, Lyla, Lincoln and Jennifer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Holy Family Parish, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, Ohio with Fr. Kevin Klonowski officiating. PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
