Joseph J. Lucien "Joe" passed away December 16, 2015.  He was born Nov 27, 1927 in Navelli, L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy and lived most of his life in Akron.

He was the son of Peter and Rose Lucien. Joe retired from Goodyear after over 40 years of service. He served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War as a crew chief and was a member of the American Legion.  He was also a long time member of St. Martha Church.

Preceded in death by his brother Julius (June) Lucien, Joe is survived by his brother, Ron Lucien of Avon Lake, Ohio and his nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 1 pm, Monday, December 28, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron with Father Joe Warner officiating.  Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Park.  Friends will be received from 11 am until the time of the service Monday morning at the funeral home.
