Joseph A Twigg

Joseph A. Twigg went home to be with the Lord on April 25th.  He was born May 21, 1932 in Akron, to the late James and Elizabeth Twigg.

Joe graduated from North High School in 1951, and then entered the plumbing trade where he worked out of Local 219 for 44 years.  We loved hearing the stories of the people he worked with and the jobs he completed all over the Akron area where he was recognized for his skill as a supervisor and master plumber.  Joe attended Chapel Hill Christian Church and enjoyed the fellowship of many who had a profound impact on his life and family.  Joe enjoyed hunting and the outdoors with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister in law, Mary and John Keller and his brothers, Jim and Bill.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maxine; and his younger brother, Bryson (Jack) and (Pauline) Twigg of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters–in-law, Anna Twigg of Tucson, Arizona and Dolores Twigg of Kenmore; his children, Kathy and Marty Streby of Kent, Beth and Marty Jindra of Copley, and Bill and Debra Twigg of Atwater; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Chapel Hill Church, Cuyahoga Falls with Pastor Kurt Huber officiating.

Visitation will be 1 until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Chapel Hill Church, 1160 Howe Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
