Josephine Devaughn

Josephine DeVaughn, 82, passed away November 9, 2022.

Born in Akron Josephine had lived in the Akron area for most of her life.  She was a bookkeeper for H&R Block for 15 years.  Josephine was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Cuyahoga Falls.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William DeVaughn and daughter, Angela.

Josephine is survived by her daughters, Leslie Skolnik of Tallmadge and Lisa (Scott) Douvikas of Mogadore; grandchildren, Dalton, Larissa, and Lydia; great grandson, Bryson; and nephew, David (Chris) Bailey of Mogadore.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Brian Bechtel officiating.

Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
