Jovanka (Novakovic) Pranjic

It is with great sadness, that our beloved Jovanka, 62, passed away October 10, 2022 after a short illness.

She was born in Tuzla, Bosnia before moving to the Akron area. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially babysitting her granddaughter, Lucia. Jovanka was always looking forward to the yearly family beach trips.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nedeljko and Milica Novakovic; son, Marko Pranjic.

Jovanka is survived by her husband, Ivica; daughter, Ivana Pranjic; son-in-law, Abbas Rahimi; and granddaughter, Lucia Athena Rahimi.

Visitation will be 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will follow visitation at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Zvonko Blasko officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
