Julie Ann Brown

Julie Ann Brown, 46, peacefully passed away on March 5, 2017, with loving parents at her side.

Julie was born January 12, 1971, and lived in the Akron area all her life. Julie had a passion for education and represented her school in the spelling bee in middle school and was a member of the National Honor Society at North High School. She graduated eleventh in her class. She earned her degree in English from  Kent State University. She optimistically dealt with the obstacles created by her struggle with Spina Bifida.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce Crumrine and father, Tom Brown. Julie was predeceased by her grandparents, Charles & Florence Crumrine and Francis & Alice Brown also by step-mother, Penny Brown.

Special thanks to AGMC SICU staff of doctors and nurses who provided exceptional nurturing care. Memorials may be made to Haslinger Palliative Care Center, 1 Perkins Sq, Akron, Oh 44308. They were caregivers in 2006, who became special friends

A private family service will be held. Cremation has taken place.
