Obituary

Julius Lucien, 94, passed away January 14, 2015.

He was born in Navelli , Italy and lived most of his life in Akron, residing in Cuyahoga Falls the last 30 years.  He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, serving in five overseas conflicts.  Julius was a member of St. Martha (Blessed Trinity) Church.  He was an avid bowler, fisherman and hunter.  He was also a member of K of C #3529.  He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 44 years of service.

Julius is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, June; sons, Mike (Robin), Dan (Barb), David (Kay) and Jeff (Alison); five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe and Ron (Agnes).

Funeral Services will be at 11 am, Monday, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron, with Father Frank Basa officiating.  Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm, Sunday, at the funeral home with a K of C rosary at 3:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association or to a charity of your choice.
