Katherine (Menyes) Berling

Katherine Berling, 80, passed away October 21, 2021. Born in Romania, she lived most of her life in Akron.

Katherine was a teacher at St. Vincent High School, but the majority of her life was a stay at home mom. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Maria Menyes; infant brother, Michael; daughter, Kathy Blackett.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Tony; daughter, Rose (Christopher) Reedy; son, Anthony "Mike" Berling; grandchildren, David, Steven, Amanda, Andrew, Katherine; great granddaughter, Isabella; sisters, Maria Danforth, Jeanie (Lou) Adler; brother; Michael Menyes; and nieces, nephews and friends.

Private services will be at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
