Katherine Louise (Fach) Bartley

Katherine Louise Bartley née Fach, age 64, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on March 1st, 2022, surrounded by her beloved family.

Kathy first and foremost loved Jesus and her family. She lived her life to serve and help others. She wanted everyone to know they are important. She left this earth believing in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and wished the same for everyone she knew. She was a great witness to her faith even until her death and was a proud member of Maranatha Bible Church in Akron, Ohio. Kathy was also proud of working in the car and motorcycle industry at a time when there were few women in the field. Kathy loved life and enjoyed cruising in the 1969 Dodge Charger she and her husband restored and going camping in their vintage Serro Scotty camper. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and pets, traveling, cooking, gardening, fishing, and volunteering. She believed a little bit of love and kindness go a long way.

Kathy was preceded in death and is no doubt rejoicing in heaven with her mother, Pamela Briscoe, father, Kurt Fach, cousin, Bobby Briscoe, and uncles, Roland Fach, Anthony Briscoe.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael, and her three beloved children, Alison, Matthew (Emily), and Andrew.

She is also survived by her siblings, Karen (Scott) Morgan and Roland Fach; nieces, nephews and their children, Jason (Tanisha) Perona, Sarah Morgan, Aaron (Macie) Sheehan, and Zoë Fach; aunt, Ingeborg Metzger; and cousins, Carola Metzger and Sabine Fach, along with countless friends and extended family.

Visitation will take place at 12 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022 followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m., at Maranatha Bible Church, 1424 Killian Road in Akron, Ohio.
