Kay Elaine (King) Mccarver

Kay E. McCarver, 77, passed away on November 18, 2025. Born in Ravenna, she lived most of her life in the Akron and Mogadore area.

Kay worked as a manager at Orthoclinic and later Belden Village Orthopedics where she retired in 2002. She enjoyed cooking and traveling, especially with her good friend Marilyn. She visited all 50 states in the country, a feat she completed this year when visiting Hawaii with her family. Kay was passionate about reading and volunteered her time reading to the blind. She could kick your ass in Scrabble any day of the week. But the most important thing in her life was the time she got to spend with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George; parents, Orville and Betty Jo King; brothers, John King and Ward King Jr.

Kay is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Adam) Rotondo and Susan (Steve Mo) Garmier; grandchildren, Noah (Vanessa) Rotondo, Emma Rotondo, Elise Ambrisco, Brendan Ambrisco; great-grandchild, Weston Rotondo; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Per her wishes private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield, OH.
