Kenneth G. Allen

Kenneth G. Allen, 78, passed away August 25, 2016, after a long struggle with Emphysema.  Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, he lived in Akron since 1968.

Kenneth retired from Gougler Industries in 2000 as a Journeyman Tool Inspector and member of local 169 UAW. He also drove cars for various car dealers for 11 years. He was an avid horse racing and Browns fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Newman Allen.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Norma; children Tamera Allen–Bailey, Ronald (Nicki) Allen, Michael (Tina) Allen and Debbie (Harry) Cosgrove; grandchildren, Tonya, Tiffany, Nathaniel, Austin, Isaiah, Mike (Kelsey), Samantha, Anna; two great grandchildren; his mother, Esther Colvin; sister Doris (Pete) Cottage; and his dog Sadie.

A special thanks to all from Summa Hospice, especially Amy and Meg.

Family will receive friends 4 until 7 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Case officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
