Kris Kyle Lambert, 36, of Uniontown went to be with the Lord, peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones after a close to three-year battle with stage four lung cancer, on Saturday, December 23, 2023.
He was born in Akron on May 25, 1987 to Donald and Rene (Ilg) Lambert. A graduate of Tallmadge High School, he went on to do car upholstery, car mechanics, floor scrubber mechanic, forklift mechanic, building maintenance, to a maintenance mechanic. Kris was a true jack of all trades; he was so passionate about work and learning new skills.
He went on to marry his high school sweetheart, Dahllas, they were together for 20 years, with four beautiful children. They meant the world to him. Kris loved to be outside as much as he could with them. Some of their all-time favorites were taking rides on daddy's mowers, getting wagon rides through the woods, camping, and vacationing to the beach. Kris loved teaching his kiddos how to start fires, mow, ride dirt bikes and four wheelers, target shooting, fishing, hunting, wrestling, softball basketball, anything he could. Kris recently was baptized with his wife, mom, and close family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Dorothy Ilg of Tallmadge Faye and Bruce Lambert of West Virginia.
Kris leaves behind his wife Dahllas (Groves) Lambert; daughters, Raelyn, Lettie, and Remi; son, Liam; parents, Donald and Rene (Ilg) Lambert, sister, Courtney Lambert; brother, Sean Lambert; nieces, Adrian and Adalynn, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
A huge thank you to every single doctor and nurse Kris has had, they were all so kind and went above and beyond for our family. You are all truly amazing!
Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Baker officiating.
Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Kris would have loved donations to go to foundations that have helped his family through this tough time.
