Larry Eugene Bader

Larry Eugene Bader, age 83, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026. Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great‑grandfather, brother and friend whose warmth, humor, and love for family touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59½ years, Marsha Bader; his brother, Dennis (Anita) Bader; his children, Larry (Brandy) Bader, Amy (Gary) Bryant, and Troy Bader. Larry was a proud and loving grandfather to Alisha (Casey) Shaw, Beth (Kyle) Arbogast, and Noah Bader, and a cherished great‑grandfather to his four great‑grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Buddy; his mother; and his four brothers, all of whom he held close in his heart.

Larry was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served his country from 1961 to 1963. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, Ohio, where he worked faithfully for 35 years until his retirement.

After retiring, Larry and Marsha spent 25 wonderful years together in Port Charlotte, Florida, enjoying life, family visits, and well‑earned relaxation.

Those who knew Larry knew he had a gift for cracking a good joke and making others laugh. Above all else, Larry loved his family deeply and was proud of the life he built with them.

Funeral Services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio 44273, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 10:45 a.m.

Those wishing to attend are kindly asked to arrive no later than 10:15 a.m., as attendees will be led as a group to the service location shortly before the ceremony.
