Larry H. Garner

Larry H. Garner, 68, passed away September 29, 2017.

Born in Akron, Larry had lived in the Akron area for most of his life.  He graduated from Kenmore High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Larry retired in 2014 from the Rubbermaid Company in Mogadore after 29 years of service.  He enjoyed gardening, music, his dogs and trips to West Virginia to visit family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Garner.

Larry is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cynthia; son, Joe (Melinda) Wilson of Wheeling, WV; five grandchildren; mother, Betty Garner of Akron; brother, Gary of North Carolina.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

A Memorial Service to follow at 12:30 p.m. Friday October 13, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Edwards officiating.

Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
