Leslie R. Hendershot

Leslie R. Hendershot, 60, passed away July 23, 2020.

Born in Painesville, Leslie had lived in Leroy for most of his life.  He was owner of Safetyman Consulting and was retired as captain from the Leroy Fire Department. He enjoyed photography, trap shooting and especially loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Hendershot.

Leslie is survived by his wife, Patti; daughter, Frances, (Jeremy) Hejduk of Madison; son, James (Shauna) Hendershot of Windsor; mother, Delores Hendershot of Morristown, TN; grandchildren, Allison, Sarah, Teagan, James, Lucas, and Wesley; sister, Debbie Hendershot of Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, Scott (Cathie) Hendershot, Jesse (Kim) Hendershot all of  Morristown, TN, and Mark(Theresa) Hendershot of Greensboro, SC.

There will be an Open House from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2020, 9541 Ellen St., Streetsboro, OH 44241.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to International Association of Fire Fighters (foundation.iaff.org).
