Linda Lee Bennett

Linda Bennett, 70, passed away January 7, 2016.  Born in Akron, she lived in Tallmadge for the last 39 years.

Linda retired in 2008 with 24 years of service as a medical transcriptionist with Summa Hospitals and a was a member of G.R.I.N.  Linda was an avid football fan, enjoyed art, bingo, fishing and bowling. She was very supportive of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Cecelia Foore; and brother, Larry Foore.

Linda is survived by her husband, Thurnes; daughter Cari Bennett (Jeremy Tarle) of Tallmadge; son, Brian Bennett (Sarah Bass) of Cleveland; sisters, Edna (Bob) Schneidenbach of Destin, FL., Judy (Michael) Flasco  of Destin, FL.; brother Michael (Francine) Foore of Westlake Village, CA.; granddaughter, Zoe Jane; and many nieces, nephews, close cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of christian burial will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave. in Tallmadge with Rev. Michael Matusz officiating.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
