Linda Joan (Conley) Clark

Linda Clark, 74, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on September 3, 2025 surrounded by family. Born January 24, 1951 in Long Island, New York, however, if you ask her about her childhood, she'd fondly share stories of growing up in Grundy, Virginia, until the age of 9, before moving to Akron, Ohio.

Linda was a nurse at Manor Care before retiring in 2008 after 15 years. She loved spending free time sewing Halloween costumes for the grandkids, knitting and crocheting baby clothes and blankets for the family.

Linda has always been passionate about giving back. She's been a Brownie leader, Superintendent for the Brigade of the American Revolution and Little League volunteer. She was instrumental in resurrecting the Greater Akron Amateur Soccer Youth Association. Linda was a La Leche League advocate, something she held as a core value through her adult life. She is remembered as a true animal lover who never met a "stray" she didn't love.

Married for 54 years to husband, Robin Clark, she enjoyed their shared interests that involve spending time with family, visiting historical sites & volunteering for the Portage County Democratic Party.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joan Conley.

Linda is survived by her husband, Robin; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Bennett of Ankeny, IA; sons, Jason Clark of Edmond, OK, Jared Clark of Oak Point, TX, Jeff Clark of Uniontown,OH; grandchildren, Alex Clark, Gavin Clark, Alyssa Clark, Carter Bennett, Abigail Clark, Ryen Clark, Taylor Bennett, Bailey Clark, Aiden Clark, Nolan Bennett, Chase Clark, Cruz  Clark, great-grandchildren, Graycie Clark & Mylie McKenzie and many friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 1-2pm with a Celebration of life directly following, at 2pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Ave, Mogadore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in honor of Linda Clark. A charity that Linda has held dear for many years.
