Linda Rose (Coreno) Jones

Linda C. Jones, 84, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024, with her daughters by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Linda attended and graduated from Kent State University where she met her husband, Tom. They resided in Tallmadge, Ohio where Linda enjoyed a wonderful 35-year career with the Tallmadge City Schools. During their years in Tallmadge, Linda and Tom were active members of the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and Rose Coreno, special friends Bob and Geri Wichman, Rev Ed and Carol Carter, Sandra Britton, and most importantly, the love of her life, Tom.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Jenni (Dave) Patrykus, and Kristen (George) Hymes both of Uniontown; grandchildren, Baylee (Alec) Cotton, Abbey (Matt) Hymes, Rhys (Keeley), and Quinn Patrykus; sister, Kathy Marszalek of Florida, brother-in-law Jim (Mona) Jones, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Memorial service to follow at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jim Case Officiating.
