Linda Marie (Stansbury) Dies

Linda Marie Dies, 51, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on May 6th. She was the daughter of James R. and Carol Stansbury of Jackson Township. She earned a Bachelor's in Accounting from Akron University. Linda was often called an Angel for her service to clients with intellectual disabilities and their families, most recently as a house manager at EPI Summit. She was an expert on collectible Barbie Dolls and doll restoration. Linda relished visiting Metro Parks with her children. She was known for her quick wit and radiant smile, which brought joy to everyone. She was preceded in death by her father.

Linda is survived by her children, Gus and Nicky; their father, Joe Dies; daughter, Danielle Williams (Graeme); and grandson Clyde Williams. She is also survived by her mother, Carol; two sisters, Laura Lyn and Lisa Stansbury Morgan (Tom); half-brother, Evan Stansbury; and devoted friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions toward a memorial bench through Summit County Metro Parks are being collected.
