Lois Jean (Lovelace) Beane

Lois Jean Beane, 88, passed away July 17, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born in Akron, Lois lived most of her life in Mogadore.

She loved to travel, camp, and snack on the boat but most of all, Lois loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Grace Lovelace; mother and father-in-law, Lucille and Ray Barker; son-in-law, Edward Jordan; granddaughter, Heather; sister, Donna Lovelace; brothers, Frank (Shirley) and Richard Lovelace; and sister-in-law, Pat (Bill) Neidert.

Lois is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert; children, Sandy Jordan, Robert (Tracie) Beane Jr., and Robin (Michael) Knotts; grandchildren, Jeremy (Yumi), Joseph, Max (Gio), Adam (Alayna), Spencer; great grandchildren, Leea, Egon, Cia; sister, Penny (Brad) Bibey; brothers, Ward (Donna) Lovelace, Tom (Connie) Lovelace, sister-in-laws, Gloria (Frank) Stark, Sheila (Harriet) Barker; brother-in-laws, Okey (Diana) Barker, Wayne (Cathy) Barker; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, July 19, 2024 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home – Mogadore, 34 S Cleveland Ave. Mogadore, OH 44260.

Funeral service will be Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 9 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior with Rev. Jim Case officiating.

Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
