Lois G. Rasnick

Lois G. Rasnick, 91, passed away August 22, 2016.

Born in Akron, Lois had lived all her life in the Akron area.  She worked at Ohio Bell as an operator.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen C. Rasnick.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Carl) Bryan of Lewis Center and Gail (Mel) Turner of Akron; sons, Ed (Gini) Rasnick of Akron and Mark (Lisa) Rasnick, of Irmo, SC; brother, Robert (Janet) Sheppard of Akron; grandchildren, Cathy (Mike) Marmaduke, Craig Bryan, Lauren Rasnick, Brianna Rasnick, and Marisa Rasnick; great grandchildren, Jacob and Alaina Marmaduke and Luke and Corrine Bryan, many nieces and nephews, and special life long friend, Marie Grafton.

Special thanks to Bob and Janet Sheppard and their daughter, Cheryl Crites for their loving care the past several years.  Also special thanks to Rockynol staff and Senior Independence Hospice.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Graveside Service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Akron.
