Lonnie Garth Young

Lonnie Garth Young, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 16, 2023. He was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, where he met and married the love of his life.

Lonnie was a Vietnam Veteran and later became very active in many social and professional organizations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Alma Young; and in laws, Lynn and Millie Thursby.

Lonnie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathy; daughters, Kristin (Jeff) Cooper, Kim (Doug) Agnew.

Lonnie loved being with his family, English Bulldogs and listening to Jimmy Buffet! You would always find him with a smile on his face and a joke to tell.
