Marcella Gladys (Sinclair) Smith

Marcella "Gladys" Smith went home to be with her Lord May 19, 2015.  She was a long time resident of Northeast Ave. in Tallmadge and was known as Gladys to friends and family.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Donald M. Smith; children, Marc (Bonnie) Goldstein-Smith of Maryland, Beth (Herb) Smith and Karen (Daniel) Farrar both of Florida, and Brian (Caron) Smith of North Carolina and preceded in death by son Eric Smith of Texas. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grand children. Born in Troy, Pennsylvania on September 15, 1926, she married Don (Red) October 19, 1947 and they lived most of their married lives in Ohio. Gladys was a long time member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church. Her interests included sports, quilting, church choir and activities, travel, square dance, camping, making friends and being a wonderful mother and provider to her family.

The family would like to thank everyone for their concerns and prayers during her recent illness.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday May 23, 2015 Tallmadge United Methodist Church, 207 N. Munroe Rd., Tallmadge with Rev. Dr. William C. Liming officiating.

Interment will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park.
