Marcene Ruth (Williamson) Marinics

Marcene Ruth Marinics, 84, passed away December 17, 2020. Born Marcene Ruth Williamson on September 14, 1936 in Akron. She raised her family in Ellet, resided in Phoenix for 23 years, then retired in Tallmadge.

Marcene attended St. John's Catholic Grade School and graduated from Garfield High School. She enjoyed tap dancing, bowling, golf, attending baseball games, and getting together with her high school ladies group. Her favorite time was spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Geraldine Williamson and sister-in-law, Diana Williamson.

Marcene is survived by her husband of 65 years, Mike Marinics; daughters, Pam (Jeff) Clerico of Tallmadge, Jill (Daniel) Ryan of Phoenix; son, Michael Marinics of North Canton; grandchildren, Amanda and Joe Clerico, Noah and Jacob Ryan, Casey and Michael Marinics Jr.; sister, Joyce (Tom) Jankowski of Alabama; brother, Jack Williamson of Akron
