Margaret (Lees) Wilson

Margaret Wilson, 85, passed away April 26, 2022. Born in Cambria, PA., she lived most of her life in Akron North Hill area.

Margaret (Peggy) Wilson retired from Akron City Hospital in 1995 after 30 years of service where she worked as a registered nurse. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Cuyahoga Falls where she served as deacon and then elder, prepared meals, made cards for shut-ins, and cleaned up the gardens all with a smile on her face. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, stamping, reading and a competitive game of cards or Chinese checkers! Her favorite activity was spending time with friends and family and hosting gatherings at her home. We thank her for her love, hospitality and service to our family and community. She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emaline Lees

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Donald) Selzer, Kimberly (Bryan) Howdyshell; sons, Brad Wilson, Jerry (Lynn) Wilson; grandchildren, June (Brian) Senerchia, Michael (Katy) Selzer, Nicole (Glenn) McManus, Heather (Justin) Vottero, Joe, Rebecca (Zach), Stan; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Charlotte, Bella, Penelope, Lucas; sister, Kathleen Gechoff, Shirley Knabe; brother, Harold Lees; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2022 at the New Hope Church, 226 Southeast Ave., Tallmadge.

Funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Todd Tackett officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.

Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Park.
