Margherita I. Parise, age 78, died peacefully September 16, 2014 at Akron City Hospital after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.  Marge was born February 18, 1936 in Akron Ohio, daughter of Mary Teresa and Frank Fanizzi.

As a resident of North Hill in Akron, Ohio, her whole life, Marge had many friends that she loved dearly.  She was a loving mom, a dedicated wife, and an amazing grandmother and great-grandmother.

Marge is survived by her daughters, Theresa and Annette; wonderful son-in-law, Bo, whom she considered a son; sisters, Christina and Mary; brother, Mike; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and close friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin and her brother, Frank Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Monday, at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends will be received from 2 to 5 pm, Sunday, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron.
