Marguerite F. Recco, 87, passed away March 3, 2017. She was born in Akron where she lived all of her life.

Marguerite enjoyed gardening, Bingo and "bus trips".  She always took care of everybody, especially her family.  Most of all, she loved the holidays and cooking for her family.  She was a member of Cassanese Aux. and the Italian Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Maria Racano; husband, Frank Recco; sister, Mary; brothers, Bart, Joe and Tony Racano.  Marguerite is survived by her son, Frank; daughter, Margaret (Dan) Darrow; grandchildren, Kailee Recco, Samantha Abbadini, Kristin (Alan) Stuker, Ashley and Lisa Darrow; great-granddaughter, Adrianna; many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am, Thursday, at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends will be received from 4 to 7 pm, Wednesday, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron.
