Marian "Ginny" Virginia (Eveleth) Evans

Marian Virginia Evans "Ginny" passed away on January 6, 2021 in Troy Ohio. She was born December 17, 1926 in Akron, Ohio.

Ginny resided in Tallmadge, Ohio for 62 years having moved to Troy 1 year ago.

She was a homemaker, and a member of Tallmadge Methodist Church. Ginny volunteered at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall, Akron Metro Parks, Mobile Meals, and Akron City Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, baking, hiking, square dancing (28 years) and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A.  Evans; her parents, Thomas and Eva Eveleth and great grandson, Jordan Jackson Jr.

Ginny is survived by daughter, Karen Spear of Troy, Ohio; sons, Mark(Sharon ) Evans of Stow, James D. (Karen A.) Evans of Tallmadge; sister, Betty Duncan and niece, Betsy Duncan of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Erin (Nate) Longbottom, Sara (Josh) VonDeylen, Chrysa  (Jordan)  Jackson, James P.  Evans, Aubrey (Eric) Kern, Chelsea Evans, and Connor Evans. She also leaves 7 great  grandchildren, twins, Cadence and Hadley,  Evan,  Noah,  Jack,  Luke , and  Kellan; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A private service will be held by the family.

Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens
