Marie K (Heller) Holodnak

Marie K. Holodnak, 93, passed away February 29, 2016. Born in Akron, she lived in Tallmadge most of her life.

Marie retired after 63 years of service at Polytuf Brands Company. She was a member of St. Matthews Church, loved working in her flowerbeds, crocheting for the homeless, the poor, Children's Hospital and good neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; brothers, Carl and Henry Heller; parents, John and Mary Heller.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Kathryn (Dave) Tedrick of Akron; son, Dennis (Sally) Holodnak of Brimfield; grandsons, Denny, Paul (Susanne), Scott; sister, Dorothy Mackaben of Arizona.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at St. Matthew Parish, 2603 Benton Ave., Akron with Rev. Fr. Michael Williamson officiating. PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
