Mario L Centola

Mario Centola, 93, passed away April 17, 2023. He was born in Akron on April 10, 1930 and lived most of his life in the Akron/Hudson area.

Mario served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from General Motors. Mario was a devoted husband, father and loyal friend to many.  His humble character and his willingness to help others were part of his caring nature.

He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Hudson and past President of the Italian Center where he served on numerous committees and where he loved to volunteer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Rosa Centola; and brothers, Ralph and Mike Centola.

Mario is survived by his wife of 67 years, Santina "Sandy"; daughters, Rozanne and Andrea; son, Mario.

There will be no service at his request. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
