Marisa Spano

Marisa Spano, 64, passed away December 28, 2015.

Born in San Vito, Italy, she resided in the United States and the Akron area since 1974.

Marisa was a member of St. Anthony Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her father, Giuseppe Prunesti.

Marisa is survived by her mother, Elisabetta Prunesti; daughter, Andrea Spano of Akron; son, Rinaldo (Angela) Spano of Green; sisters, Rosanna (Mario) Procopio, Elena (Vito) Scolieri, both of Italy; grandchildren, Giuseppe and Ava; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at St. Anthony Padua Parish, 83 Mosser Place, Akron with Rev. Edward Burba officiating.

Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
