Mark L. Serian

Mark L. Serian, 65, passed away June 13, 2026. Born in Akron Ohio on October 16,1960, he lived his life there.

Mark was a graduate of Akron East High School, class of 1979, lettering in football. In his earlier years he wrestled and played baseball. Mark owned his own construction company. He was an avid fisherman, deer hunter and weightlifter and dedicated himself to fitness his entire life. Mark had a brilliant IQ-mind with a practical gift for problem solving and a masters’ eye for design. His compassion for the sick was unwavering.

He was preceded in death by wife Judith Allen and parents Kay and Joseph Serian.

He is survived by his sister Marianne (Richard) of Tallmadge, brother Paul Serian of Cuyahoga Falls and his best friend/girlfriend, Karla Bechter; nephew Richard Quintrell; nieces Amanda Dowling, Kelsey, Regan, and Melissa. Mark will be missed by his family and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at Visitation of Mary; 55 Broad Street, Akron, OH, 44305 on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Paul Rosing officiating.

Internment immediately following at Tallmadge Cemetery.
