Martha P (Landis) Speelman

Martha P. Speelman, 92, passed away March 13, 2016.  Born in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, she lived most of her life in Akron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; brothers, George and Charles Landis.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Pauline Schindler of Akron; sons, Richard (Pam) Speelman of Tallmadge, Larry (Marie) Speelman of Akron, Gary (Debbie) Speelman of Akron; brother, John (Betty) Landis of Akron; grandchildren, Megan, Chad, Christeen, Steven (Elizabeth), Jill, Douglas, Kimberly, Fred (Sally), Randy; and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle) and one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Barry French officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tri County Transportation Unit, c/o Tadmor Shrine, 3000 Krebs Drive, Akron, Ohio 44319.

Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
