Martha "Dolly" Maguire

Dolly, 94, was the loving mother of four sons and devoted wife of Paul for 62 years.  Sweet and kind to everyone, she enjoyed cooking, playing cards with friends, and travelling with her family.  Dolly was a loyal member of The Chapel for many years.

Surrounded by family, she passed away on May 7, 2016 after a short illness.

Dolly was a lifelong resident of Akron and the last survivor of 17 children.  She was preceded in death by her husband. Dolly is survived by her sons, Robert (Deb) of Tallmadge, James (Beth) of Akron, John (Sunniva) of Los Angeles, California, and Scott of Reston, Virginia; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In honor of Dolly's memory, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or the Haven of Rest.

Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday (TODAY), May 10, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at The Chapel at Fir Hill, 135 Fir Hill, Akron with Rev. Steve Bucy officiating.

Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
