Martha Anne (Smith) Steidl

Martha Steidl, beloved daughter of F. Edward and Sue Smith; wife of Larry Steidl; mother of Michael (Jennifer) and Jeffrey (Anna-Marie) Steidl, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Martha graduated from St Mary's High School and attended the University of Akron. She was a voracious reader, a talented painter, and a superior daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, grandmother, and friend to many. She worked for a number of years as school secretary at Annunciation-St John School in Akron.

Martha is survived by her husband, sons, brother, Tom (Jeri) Smith; sister, Jean (Robert) Saraceno; grandchildren, Sebastian, Caleb and Owen Steidl and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
