Martha Taylor

Martha L. Taylor, 89, passed away May 8, 2017.

Born in Cameron, West Virginia, raised in Fish Creek, West Virginia Martha had lived in Tallmadge for most of her life.  She was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church for over 50 years, where she was very active. She taught Sunday school and helped start the pre school.  She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Dorcas Circle, UMW, Good Neighbors, Heart For The City, and Mobile Meals. She was also a substitute teacher in Tallmadge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Roscoe and Sarah Fair;  husband, A.D. Taylor; sister, Ruth Stern, and brother, Gibson Fair.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Terri (Art) Barco of Medina; son, Thomas (Helen) Taylor of Columbus; grandchildren, Emily, Ellie, Kelly, and Ryan; sisters, Jean Chambers of Cameron, WV, Florence Hudson of Ashtabula.

Visitation will be 4 until 6 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Tallmadge United Methodist Church, 207 N. Munroe Rd., Tallmadge with Rev. Scott Low and Dr. H. George Myers officiating.

Interment will be held at Tallmadge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tallmadge United Methodist Church.
