Martin C. Wyatt

Martin C. Wyatt, 95, passed away March 24, 2015.

Born in Zanesville, Martin had lived in Akron since 1939.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired in 1977 from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company with 37 ½ years of service.  He was a member of Adoniram Joppa Lodge #517.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Cora and son, John Wyatt on April 30, 2014

Martin is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Bob) Sutphin of Akron and Karen (Bill) Forney of Edinburg; grandchildren, Jeff Gragg of Ball Ground, GA, Rob (Chris) Gragg of Imsbach, Germany, Scott (Dana) Wyatt of Taylor, Michigan, Kimberly (Bryan) Burke of Kansas City, MO, Jerry (Dawn) Forney of Akron, and Lori (John) White of Holly Springs, NC; 11 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park, where military rites will be conducted by Mogadore VFW Post 8487.
