Marvin Virgil Breiding

Marvin Virgil Breiding, 91, passed away October 8, 2025.  Born in Akron, he lived most of his life in Tallmadge.

Marvin worked for 35 years at Alexander Body and Fender then worked 25 years at Stark Enterprises. He officially retired at the age of 90.  He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church for over 65 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Willene; parents, William and Ora Breiding; 10 siblings; and father and mother-in-law, Richard and Ruth Knight.

Marvin is survived by his children, Jana (Mark) Tucker of Tallmadge, Julie (Alberto) Machinena of Rocky River, Dirk (Bruce) Breiding of North Lawrence, Lisa (Ron) Williams of Tallmadge and Ryan (Tami) Breiding of Ellet; grandchildren, Mandy, Brandon, Emmy (Mark), Abbie (Mariah), Michael, Nic, Haley, and Drake; great grandchildren, Gillian, Ethan, and Willow; sisters in law, Carol Kane and Eloise Breiding; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Michael Williamson officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff at Summa Hospice and Palliative Care and the staff at Mulberry Gardens and Mulberry Gardens Memory Care.
