Mary "Kate" C (Goad) Sparks

Mary C. "Kate" Sparks, 60, passed away June 14, 2017. Born in Charleston, WV, she lived most of her life in the Akron area.

Mary worked as a caregiver with Ardmore, Inc and enjoyed crocheting, painting, baking and dresses.

She was preceded in death by her son, W.C. Sparks, III; father, Eugene Goad, Sr.

Mary is survived by her husband, William Sparks, II.; daughter, Meghan Sparks of Akron; mother, Esmine "Jessie" Goad of Akron; grandson, Damien; brothers, Eugene Goad, Jr., Sam (Missy) Goad, Kevin (Tina) Goad all of Akron; sister, Vanessa (Steve) Linton of Akron; nieces, Stephanie (Ronald Wagner) Linton, Shannon Goad; nephew, Kevin Goad, Jr.; great niece, Jaydalyn Jarvis; great nephew, little Ronnie; Jamie Nutter and her children, Brooklyn and Braylon; Stacy Verraneault and kids; and her loving pets, Jingles and King.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 6:00 Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
