Mary Margaret Flasco, LPN, 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 5, 2014.  She is the daughter of Charles (Whitey) and Mary Jane Donohoe.  Born September 27, 1949 in Akron, OH, she graduated from Saint Mary's High School in 1968 and then the Akron School of Practical Nursing.  She served most of her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in geriatric nursing care, and in most recent years as bookkeeper for her husband, Gary M. Flasco, DDS.

She is survived by her husband Gary; sons, Kevin (Jennifer, daughter Paige), Andrew and Matthew; father and mother-in-law, Palmer and Olga Flasco; sister, Jeanne (Jack) Steele; brother Jack (Diane) Donohoe; brother-in-law, Ray (Diana) Flasco; nephews, Eric, Paul and Marc (Sunita) Steele; nieces, Laura (Tim) Rath and Maggie (fiancée Alan) Donohoe; five wonderful grandnephews; and many other family members.  She will be remembered for her love of flowers, knitting and making over-the-top mega-calorie desserts.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am, Friday, at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 164 W. Market St., Akron.  Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.  Procession will start at the church.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 pm, Thursday, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron.
