Mary Ann Hunt born April 20, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio died September 25, 2021 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Orphaned at the age of three she was reared by her mother's brother and sister, John and Mary T. White.

Mary Ann was employed by St. Thomas Hospital for over 40 years. She volunteered at many local organizations and was a lifelong and devoted member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.

Mary Ann enjoyed a blessed and interesting life. She will be remembered by her loyal and giving personality as well as her love for her second cousins and their families.

Preceding her in death was her longtime special friend Agnes Godwin.

She is survived by her cousin's Pat Werle, Renick Shank, and KC Shank, all of Machesney Park, IL. James Shank of Poplar Grove, IL, Ted Shank of Fargo, ND, Helen Kunkleman of Lima, Ohio, Mary Bauman of Findlay, Ohio, and  Diana Evans of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by devoted and special friends Martha Booth and Sally Ricchiuto of Akron, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Friday, October 1st at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the mass at the church Friday morning.
