Mary "Mollie" Malloy

Mary "Mollie" Malloy, 90, passed away June 30, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She was born and raised in London, England before making her home here in Northeast Ohio. Mollie had a passion for tennis, bowling, water aerobics, and playing Scrabble. She was a devoted member of Blessed Trinity and the British Commonwealth Club where she made many lasting friendships.

Mollie is survived by her three daughters who meant the world to her: Teresa (John) Maynard- Pais, Linda (Ken) Null, and Geraldine "Jody" (Gary) James. She will be missed greatly by her grandchildren: Bobby and Miranda Null, Andrew (Melanie) and Brendan (Tricia) Maynard, Caitlin and Bridget Castle, and Aaron James. She was a doting great grandmother to her great grandchildren: Aidan and Ashlyn Null, Ayelah and Veryan Richmond, and Anna, Violet and Olive Maynard. She shared a special bond with her younger sister, Geraldine Rolfe, who currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa.

She is reunited in death with her loving husband Joseph Malloy.

Mollie leaves behind a legacy of kindness, playfulness, and a joyful spirit that will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will take place on Monday July 8, 2024 at Donovan Funeral Home located at 17 Southwest Avenue Tallmadge, Ohio 44278 from 5-7pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am on Tuesday July 9, 2024 located at Blessed Trinity, 300 E. Tallmadge Avenue Akron, Ohio 44310, with Father Joe officiating.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
