Mary Louise (Minor) Morris

Mary Louise Morris (Minor), 65, passed away February 11, 2022 due to covid complications. Born in Akron, she resided in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

She was retired from Duval County Public School District after 30+ years. Mary enjoyed photography and taking pictures of the sunrise and sunsets, which she posted daily for her friends and family to enjoy. She also enjoyed karaoke, Steelers football games and was an avid Disney World fan, where she was an annual passholder. She took many trips in her convertible Mustang that she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Rose Minor; sister, Peggy Howe; brother-in-law, Lowell McClellan.

Mary is survived by her sisters, Cathy (Mike) Ferrell, Patty McClellan, Karen Minor, Linda (Danny) Schneider; brother-in-law, Dale Howe; children, Sean (Leslie), Bobby (Lori), Pete (Sarah); grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Celebration of life service will be held in Fernandina Beach at a later date.
