Mary V. (Sayre) Broadwater

Mary V. Broadwater, 70, passed away April 25, 2015.

Born in East Liverpool, Mary had lived in Tallmadge the past 45 years.

She retired from Summa Health Systems in 2011 with over 20 years of service and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron. She also enjoyed exercising with her friends at Curves and crocheting, reading and spending time with family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Maynard and Thelma Sayre; husband, Dennis; son Dennis "Denny" II; and sister, Lola.

She is survived by daughters, Denise Broadwater (Rick Derr) of Canton and Lora (Ed) Yakubik of Akron; sisters, Louise (Frank) Chirico of Columbus and Laura Colbert of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Emily, Thomas, Sarah, David, Mary, Brandon, Daniel and Christopher; special friend Judie Alfano.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 and one hour prior to the service at The Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 with Pastor David Nevergall officiating. Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to  the Summa heart or cancer foundations.
