Mary Inez Smith

Mary "Inez" Smith (Norman), born in Pryse, Kentucky, April 9, 1938, passed away January 9, 2021.

Inez came to Akron at age 15,spent one year in Sanatorium with TB. She attended Akron North High School, graduated in Class of 57. She was employed by Ben Franklin Warehouse in Stow for 18 years (1961-1978). Inez retired in 1999 from various of other jobs. Inez spent a few years suffering with dementia in the nursing home and then to hospice care till she passed away at the age of 82.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Alfra M. Norman; sisters, Delores McConnaughey, Carol Ann Norman.

Inez is survived by her husband, Charles; daughter, Cindy McKee; granddaughter, Holly Miller (Cody); grandson, Stephen McKee; great grandson, Mason Miller; great granddaughter, Vivian Mary Miller; sisters, Galena Seeker (Harold); brother, William Norman (Toni).

Visitation will be 10:30 until 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Funeral Service will follow visitation at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev.Scott Low officiating.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tallmadge United Methodist Church, 207 N. Munroe, Tallmadge Ohio 44278.
