He had worked at Unity Works Lighting LLC.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lohetta Morton; father, Maurice; daughter, Tia Janae Monice Morton.

Maurice is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Morton; mother, Yvonne Foshee-Morton; grandchildren, Quindarius and Quintez; stepchildren, Tonisha, Chastity, Ebony, Temperance, Deena, David, Daylor; step-grandchildren, Adonis, Takaila, Ekira, Taylor, Bria, Elijah, Leighann, Ziare, Zuri, Journi, Kameron, Devontae, Tyrelle, Tyresse, DJ, Jordon, Daphne and Melanie; sister, Germaine Morton; niece, Heather; nephew, Ray II; best friend, Tony Nelson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
